Delivering roof works at Stirling

Leigh DB were appointed to carry out roof works at a Stirling property. The project involved extensive preparation, roof resurfacing and drainage upgrades. All works were completed within the allocated programme and in budget.


Pre-works preparation

Before applying the new roof system, Leigh DB prepared the site by:

  • Removing redundant AC units
  • Clearing ponding water from the roof area
  • Removing vegetation and debris, including redundant concrete slabs
  • Lifting and supporting condensing units to allow for full spray coverage of the roof

150sqm roof works

Once the roof was prepared, the following works were completed:

  • Jet washed the entire area
  • Sealed all cracks, sheeted up and masked the roof
  • Applied primer across the full surface
  • Applied Prokol 260FR Roofing Spray Applied Pure Polymer
  • Cleaned down the full roof area after application

Additional works

To improve drainage and prevent future damage, Leigh DB also:

  • Removed vegetation, corroded guttering and downpipes
  • Replaced 5.5m of guttering and 5m of downpipe
  • Installed new uPVC fascia boards

Results of the Stirling roof works

The project delivered a fully refurbished roof area designed for long-term protection and performance. Outcomes included:

  • Roof resurfaced with Prokol 260FR pure polymer system for durability
  • Improved drainage with new guttering, downpipes and fascia boards
  • Site cleared of redundant equipment, vegetation and debris
